Converse Bank - sponsor of ARTEXPO cultural exhibition
ArmInfo.Converse Bank has become a sponsor of ARTEXPO cultural exhibition held in Yerevan on February 12-13. As the press service of Converse Bank told ArmInfo, this is the first sponsor programme of the bank in 2010. According to the source, in 2009, the bank sponsored such large-scale events as Spartak ballet by Aram Khachaturyan and the Open Music Festival, which lasted for almost three months.
To recall, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan visited ARTEXPO exhibition in 2010. Such big international festivals as High Fest, Golden Apricot, ReAnimania, Prospects of XXI Century, ARMMONO and Shakespeare Festival took part in the exhibition.
Moreover, Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin, the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia, National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet after Spendiarov, National Academic Theatre after Sundukyan, Yerevan Puppet Theatre after Tumanyan and others were presented at the
exhibition by separate pavilions. A Russian producer and scriptwriter Aida Medvedeva, well-known by such projects as Secrets of Love, Secrets of Death and Be careful, food! has become the guest of the exhibition in 2010.
Advanced Global Investments Company, controlled by an Argentine businessman Eduardo Eurnekyan (95%) and the Cathedral of the Armenian Apostolic Church (5%) are shareholders of Converse Bank which has been functioning since 1993.
