Allianz holds a seminar for insurers


ArmInfo.The insurance specialists of the German insurance group Allianz held a seminar for Armenian insurers in Yerevan. The seminar program consisted of 2 parts. In the first part the insurers familiarized themselves with the Allianz experience of insuring construction and assembly risks, and in the second part - with experience of insuring property risks. The managers of Armenian insurance companies also discussed with the Allianz experts their own experience of regulation of problems with re- insurers of the given risks.

To note, Allianz showed interest in the Armenian insurance market in 2009. The company held meetings with Armenian insurers in Yerevan, Moscow, Baden-Baden. Today Allianz reinsures the risks of 5-6 local insurance companies. According to ArmInfo correspondent, in March Allianz will hold a large-scale meeting with the insurers of the region in Moscow, and late in 2010 - in Yerevan. Allianz is one of the leading financial companies. It has been operating since the end of XIX century. In 1985 Allianz was transformed into an international holding and currently includes 600 branches in over 70 countries of the world. The company is rated by a number of such large international independent agencies as Standard & Poor's, Moody's, A.M. Best.
