Unibank doubles portfolio of business-credits
ArmInfo.Unibank doubled the volume of business-credits in January, 2010, as compared to January, 2009. As Unibank's press service told ArmInfo, as of February, 2010, business-credits made up the lion's share in the bank's credit portfolio - almost 60% or 38.3 bln drams.
The credit portfolio of Unibank in January, 2010, as compared to January, 2009, increased by almost 20 bln drams and exceeded 65 bln drams. Along with it, 12.2 bln drams and 8.1 bln drams, respectively, in the bank's credit portfolio fell on the mortgage and auto loans. The major part of credits, provided by the bank, in quantitative terms falls on plastic cards, auto loans and mortgage.
To note, Unibank offers one of the widest product lines on credit cards. The bank has recently announced issue of a new U-Buy card, with credit limit to 1 mln drams and for a period to 24 months. U-Buy card may be drawn up by all the individual persons with a confirmed monthly income and with no negative credit history.
To recall, Unibank has been provided resources at the rate of $20 mln within the frames of the agreement with one of the leading Russian banks, Uniastrum Bank. Asset Management and EBA Invest, owning 50% of the bank's block of stock, are shareholders of Unibank.
