ABCA-Credit Agricole Bank has the highest "synthetic" index according
ArmInfo. ABCA-Credit Agricole Bank has the highest "synthetic" index according to ArmInfo's "Ideal Armenian Bank" methodology.
The "Ideal Bank" methodology has been developed by the Financial Information and Analysis Service of the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo) with the first rating published in 2007. In the past three years ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank has risen from the third to the first place while HSBC Bank Armenia has dropped from the first to the second position. Ardshinivestbank has fallen from the second to the third rank. VTB Bank Armenia is stably in the fourth place. Ameriabank is the fifth this year.
ArmInfo's experts say that the index of a bank's significance helps in banking analysis, particularly, when one wants to assess the reliability of the banking sector, as a whole. A bank's significance is reflected by the "synthetic" index of "Ideal Bank."
