Over Q1 2010 general liabilities of Armenian credit organizations grew by 12,1% to $138.7 mln
ArmInfo. Over Q1 2010 the general liabilities of Armenian credit organizations grew by 12,1% to 55.6 bln AMD ($138.7 mln), the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) reported.
In the structure of general liabilities of credit organizations, over Q1 2010 call liabilities grew by 19,3% to 175.8 mln AMD ($439 thsd), fixed-term deposits of legal entities - by 19,2% to 15.5 bln AMD ($38.8 mln),fixed-term deposits of individuals - by 14,2% to 2.7 bln AMD ($6.7 mln), liabilities to the banks and other financial organizations - by 9,4% to 34.9 bln AMD ($87.1 mln), on payable interest - by 35,7% to 830.6 mln AMD ($2.1 mln).
Other liabilities fell by 6,1% to 1.4 bln AMD ($3.6 mln). According to the CBA data, as of 1 April 2010, there were 28 credit organizations and 6 branches in Armenia. To recall, UCO VTB Leasing has recently made an announcement on its merger with VTB Bank (Armenia).
