UNIStream transfers up 7% in Armenia
ArmInfo. The international system of money transfers UNIStream fixed 6,7% growth of the number of transfers in Armenia in the 1Q 2010.
As press-service of UNIStream reported, In January the number of transactions in the republic amounted to 136 thsd against 127 thsd at the same period of 2009. The circulation of the system in the republic grew by 2,1% and amounted to 91,2 mln drams in the 1Q of the current year. The company connects growth of the management with much growth of customers. "Over quite a long period of time we have been implementing a number of interesting and important projects in Armenia. Among them - the 1% low tariffs and non-percent tariff plans which suppose no rate of interest for the national currency transfers", - Director General of UNIStream Suren Ayriyan said.
He also said about the non-address transfers when a payee may take his money in any point of the republic. "Today we have managed to make the fork of the rates in such a way so that to minimize expenses for money transfer. The leadership of the company thinks that the key priorities of our development not only in Armenia but in the CIS in general, are maximal availability of tariffs along with high quality and interesting options", Airyan said and added that in 2009 total circulation of the system in the republic amounted to 549 mln dollars and the number of money transfers grew up to 711 thsd.
To note, UNIStream has been acting in Armenia via its exclusive partner Unibank since the second half of 2002.
