Prices of precious metals down in Armenia


ArmInfo. The Depository of Precious Metals and Stones of Armenia, the Finance Ministry of Armenia, has established the prices of precious metals for May 24-30 2010. Thus, the official price of gold (gold bullions) established for the current week fell 1.8% as compared to the prices for the last week to 14,939.71 AMD per gram. Silver price was up 3.7% to 228.36 drams/g, platinum was down 6.2% to 19904.18 drams/g, and palladium was up 12.4% to 5803.39 drams/g.

The source reports that as comparing to early January 2010, gold price in Armenia grew 9.2%, silver price - 5.7%, platinum price grew 6.6% and palladium - over 12.7%.
