3% average quarterly growth of Armenia's economy crediting in 2010
ArmInfo. By estimates of Armenia's Central Bank, average quarterly growth of the monetary base will make up 3-4% started April 2010 during 12 months, against 6,4% and 4,8% in a similar period of 2009, CB's monetary policy programme for the second quarter of 2010 says.
According to the programme, taking into account the influence of de-dollarization measures by Central Bank and government, average quarterly twofold growth of the dram base is expected in 2010, as compared to 2009, from 3,2% to 8% under slowdown of the currency deposit growth rates from the last-year 10% to 2%.
The financial system will keep on implementing the programme of crediting of small and middle business primarily, and partially the mortgage market activation programmes. As a result, growth of economy crediting per quarter will make up 3% on average.
