Converse Bank and Visa Concord Travel Agency offer tours in Tunis


ArmInfo. Converse Bank jointly with Visa Concord Travel Agency offer for the first time in Armenia organization of tours in Tunis.

Converse Bank press-service told ArmInfo the bank will prepare surprises for its customers traveling to Tunis. In particular, every tourist will be presented a Visa Gold plastic card and an opportunity of medical insurance. The holders of Visa Classic and MasterCard Standard will buy trip tickets with 4% discount and the holders of Visa Gold and MasterCard Gold - 6% discount. In addition, the bank will return the holders of the given cards 0.3% of the purchases made during the tour in Tunis. Every tourist will receive a deposit box free of charge and if necessary a credit during the tour.

The first direct flights are scheduled for July 14 and 28 as well as on August 11 and 25 by A320 Nouvelair.

ArmInfo's Analytical Bulletin "Armenian Banks in Plastic Card Market " says the number of Converse Bank's active cards as of April 1 2010 totaled 36921 (8th position in banking system), including 22615 Visa International (4th position). Total number of the active cards grew 36% versus Jan 1 2009. Converse Bank occupies the 6th position in terms of the volume of transactions (22% up over 2009).

The shareholders of Converse Bank are Advanced Global Investments Company managed by Argentinean businessman Eduardo Eurnekian (95%) and Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin Cathedral (5%).
