Armeconombank to ensure growing of main indices by 10-15% in 2010
Arminfo. Armeconombank is going to ensure growing of the main indices by 10-15% in 2010, deputy chairman of Armeconombank Board Hayk Mkrtchyan told journalists today.
He also added that taking into account the global financial crisis in the world and in Armenia the bank managed to finish the year 2009 successfully. The bank assets for 2009 grew by 4,6% up to 52.2 bln drams, the volume of the given credits - by 8,1% up to 29.2 bln drams, total liabilities - by 5,4% up to 43.5 bln drams, obligations against customers - by 16,9% up to 24.4 bln drams, total capital - by 0,7% up to 8.7 bln drams. Mkrtchyan specially emphasized that the time deposits grew by 22,5% - up to 6.1 bln drams in 2009. "We are negotiating with international financial structures for attraction of new resources. The contract with IFC about a new credit will be signed soon>, - he said.
The member of Armenian Central Bank Andranik Norekyan said, in his turn, that Armeconombank is a system-forming bank and has organized its activity on the basis of the best principles of corporative management. It draws out new instruments all the time. , - Norekyan said.
