In Q2 2010 credits of Armenia's credit organizations grew by 7% to $209mln
ArmInfo. In Q2 2010 the credits of Armenia's credit organizations grew by 7% to 73.1bln AMD or $209mln - 88.1% of the total assets.
The press service of the Central Bank of Armenia reports that crediting of industry grew by 27.5% to 4.3bln AMD or $11.9mln, financial sector - by 16.7% to 21.7bln AMD or $60mln, agriculture - by 10.3% to 13bln AMD or $35.6mln, trade - by 8.6% to 10.4bln AMD or $28.6mln. Crediting of construction declined by 7.2% to 5.8bln AMD or $16mln, consumers - by 4.4% to 3.9bln AMD or $10.8mln, transport and communication - by 2.2% to 2.2bln AMD or $6mln.
Risk classified credits and receivables grew by 3.7% to 76.5bln AMD or $218.3mln. Prime loans totalled 76.6ln AMD or $210.3mln (96.3% of total credit portfolio), controlled loans - 1.8bln AMD or $5mln (2.3%), nonprime loans - 670.1mln AMD or $1.8mln (0.8%), dubious loans - 429.2mln AMD or 0.5%.
As of July 1 2010 there were 29 credit organizations with 60 branches in Armenia.
