Net volume of transfers to Armenia amounts to 71 bln drams in the 2Q 2010
ArmInfo. The net volume of transfers of individual persons to Armenia via the commercial banks and payment organizations has amounted to 71 bln drams in the 2Q 2010, having reduced by 6 bln drams if compared with the same period of 2009. As press-service of Armenian Central Bank reported, the total inflow of transfers to the country in the 2Q amounted to 136 bln drams, having exceeded the similar period of 2009 by 8,3%, and the volume of transfers from Armenia amounted to 65 bln drams having increased by 36% as against the same period of 2009.
The total of 97 bln drams (the number of transfers is 459575) were transferred to Armenia by individual persons via the commercial banks in the 2Q 2010, having increased this indicator by 8 times. The average size of one transfer to Armenia was 212 thsd drams, having decreased by 7 thsd drams if compared with 2Q 2009. The volume of money transfer to Armenia via the accounts SWIFT, Telex, Fax amounted to 757 bln drams in the 2Q 2010 (the number of transfers was - 40596), and the average size of one transfer was 18.6 mln drams, having increased by 56% as against the same period of 2009.
Over the reported period the transfer volume to Armenia via the payment organizations amounted to 1.2 bln drams, and from Armenia - 0.1 bln drams. The average size of one transfer amounted to 107 thsd drams having increased by 17 thsd drams as a against the same period of 2009.
