Areximbank-Gazprombank Group is planning to convert its IT technologies to ISO 27000 standards


ArmInfo. By 2013 Areximbank-Gazprombank Group is planning to transfer convert its IT technologies to ISO 27000.

Head of the IT Department of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group Hasmik Nersessyan says that one of the bank's key strategic tasks is to constantly improve its IT technologies. The bank has already introduced Client Bank and Internet Banking systems and has successfully migrated to GazCardService (Processing Center of Gazprombank).

To note, ISO 27000 contains information security standards published jointly by ISO and IEC and offers the best recommendations in the field of information security.

Areximbank-Gazprombank Group was established in 1998. As of Aug 31 2010 the bank has issued loans worth a total of 39.317bln AMD (28.978bln AMD to legal entities, 10.338bln AMD - to individuals).
