ArmInfo. Last week (6-12 September) Armenian banks provided loans worth 20.6 bln AMD and $30.2 mln, the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia told ArmInfo.

According to the source, over the current week (6-12 September) the banks bought $72.3 mln at the average exchange rate of 362,49 AMD/$1, and sold $71.7 mln at the average exchange rate of 363,95 AMD/$1 in the intrabank currency market (transactions with clients). Over the given period currency purchase and sale operations worth $12.7 mln were carried out at the average exchange rate of 363,12 AMD/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia. Currency purchase and sale operations worth $1.022 mln were carried out at the average exchange rate of 363,41 AMD/$1 in the interbank currency market from 6 till 12 September.
