Action of UNIStream prolonged till the end of 2010


ArmInfo. UNIStream money transfer system has announced about prolonging the action of money transfers at lower tariffs till the end of 2010. The terms of the action are as follows:

- if the remittance sum is up to 3 000 USD, EUR or 100 000 RUB the tariff is 1%;

- if the remittance sum exceeds 3 000 USD, EUR or 100 000 RUB, the tariff is 0,45%;

- if the remittance is made in AMD the tariff is 0,35%.

Unibank press-service reported that money transfers at the aforementioned tariffs are made only between the own service points of Unistream and Uniastrum Russian banks and Armenian Unibank.

In January-August 2010 the turnover of UNIStream international money transfer system in Armenia made 338 mln USD, providing 2.8% growth as compared with the same period of the preceding year. The transactions number increased by 5.13% during January-August reaching 467 258. Thereby UNIStream is still in the lead in the money transfers market of Armenia.

UNIstream entered the Armenia market in the second half of 2002 and operates via its exclusive partner Unibank.
