ProCredit Bank to launch internet banking in October
ArmInfo. In October 2010 ProCredit Bank is going to launch internet banking for both legal entities and individuals, Executive Director of ProCredit Bank (Armenia) Bertolt Hertzfeldt told journalists on Monday.
He pointed out that the given service will allow the bank's clients to save their time and carry out banking operations from their offices or any point of the world where there will be an access to the internet. The program and module for this product have been worked out by the company servicing all the banks of the ProCredit Group.
To note, ProCredit Bank launched activity in Armenia on 5 Feb 2008, specializing on the sphere of micro- credits and small and medium business financing. Over two years the bank has formed almost 11-thsd clientele base and opened 9 branches. The bank's shareholders are ProCredit Holding AG (68,46%), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (16,67%), and the German Development Bank KfW (14,87%).
