Armenian CB chairman leaves for Washington to take part in annual meeting of IMF and WB on October 8-10
АрмИнфо. Chairman of Armenia's Central Bank Artur Javadyan has left for Washington to take part in the annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Board of Governors of the World Bank (WB) on October 8-10.
As Armenian CB press service told ArmInfo, A. Javadyan will attend IMF and WB leaders' plenary session of their annual meeting, as well as IMF Netherlands sub-group countries meeting.
According to the source, A. Javadyan will meet with IMF Executive Director A. Vakkari, Director of the IMF's Middle East and Central Asia Department Masood Ahmed, WB Executive Director Rud Treffers, deputy Director of WB Group's Regional Department Philippe Le Houerou, WB Director for South Caucasus Asad Alami, Head of IFC financial markets of Central and Eastern Europe Timothy Krause. Along with it, meetings of A. Javadyan with chairmen of central banks have also been scheduled.
