Russian Gasprombank to capitalize Armenian subsidiary Areximbank - Gaspronbank Group
ArmInfo. Today Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sarkisyan hosted Chairman of the Russian Gasprombank Council Andrey Akimov to discuss the prospects of increasing of the authorized capital of the Russian Gasprombank's Armenian subsidiary Areximbank-Gasprombank Group.
As press-service of the government reported, the parties were pleased with dynamic development of the bilateral cooperation. In this context they touched on possibility of its deepening in the sphere of energy and financial market development.
Director General of CJSC "ArmRusgasprom" Karen Karapetyan and Director General of Areximbank-Gasprombank Group Armen Khandikyan also took part in the meeting.
According to the Ranking of Armenian commercial banks prepared by ArmInfo, as of 1 July 2010 the total capital of "Areximbank-Gasprombank Group" amounted to 14.3 bln drams (the 8th position) with 43,2% growth if compared with the same period of 2009, the assets - 49.2 bln drams (11th position) - 45,8% growth, and credit investments - 33.7 bln drams (9th position) 81% growth.
