In Q3 2010 time deposits of physical entities grew by 5.8% to $746.3mln
ArmInfo. In Q3 2010 time deposits of physical entities grew by 5.8% to $746.3mln or 269.6bln AMD.
The press service of the Central Bank of Armenia reports that time deposits of legal entities decreased by 11.5% to 87.8bln AMD or $243mln. Call deposits grew by 7.8% to 260.9bln AMD or $722.2mln.
In Q3 2010 the liabilities of the banking system of Armenia grew by 7.3% to 1,111bln AMD or $3.1bln. In their structure obligations to the government decreased by 3.4% to 86.7bln AMD or $240mln, other obligations grew by 9.5% to 44.8bln AMD, obligations to banks and other financial organizations grew by 17.2% to 350.1bln AMD or $968.8mln, due interests grew by 11.4% to 11.2bln AMD.
As of Oct 1 2010 there were 21 commercial banks with 400 branches in Armenia.
