Over Jan-Sep 2010 Areximbank-Gazprombank Group ensured the highest growth of credit portfolio - 99,99%
ArmInfo. Over Jan-Sep 2010 Areximbank-Gazprombank Group demonstrated the highest growth of credit portfolio in the Armenian banking system – by 99,99% to 42.8 bln AMD (76% of the bank's assets), the press service of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group told ArmInfo.
According to the source, the total assets of the bank grew by 44,31% over the period under review, and by this index the bank holds the 2nd position among Armenian banks. In absolute terms the bank's assets amounted to 56.3 bln AMD by 1 October 2010.
To note, CJSC Areximbank-Gazprombank Group has been operating since 1998 as a bank set up to support entrepreneurship and serving the financial flows between Russia and Armenia. Since 12 June 2009 Gazprombank (Russia) has been the owner of 100% of the bank's shares.
As of 1 October 2010, the total liabilities of the bank amounted to 41.7 bln AMD, total capital -14.6 bln AMD, authorized capital -12.3 bln AMD. Over Jan-Sep 2010 the pretax profit of the bank made up 744.3 mln AMD. The bank has 15 branches, 6 of them in Yerevan and 9 in the regions.
