VTB Bank (Armenia) presents Martuni branch in line with retail business development program
ArmInfo. VTB Bank (Armenia) Martuni branch has moved to a new building (Martuni, Str. Myasnikyan 33) in line with the retail business development program for 2010. VTB Bank (Armenia) Director General - Chairman of Directorate Valery Ovsyannikov, Martuni Mayor Bagrat Haroutiunyan and other officials attended the official opening of the branch.
"I hope we will open new opportunities for Martuni. Our branch in Martuni is one of the best ones," Ovsyannikov said. He said that for late Sept 2010 the loan portfolio of the branch amounted to 430 million drams versus 244 million drams in Jan. The portfolio of deposits totaled 136 million drams. V. Ovsyannikov is sure that business development in the region will allow increasing portfolios. "First of all, we will continue our retail business and lending to SME. In general, our policy is to bring all our branches in line with the single requirements of VTB brand. The bank has already repaired 59 of its 68 branches. Our branch network in Gegharkunik region is very important. It comprises 6 branches and I hope Martuni will become a space for business development in this region," Valery Ovsyannikov said.
"Presentation of Martuni branch is the first official housewarming. Till the end of 2010 we are going to move the branches Aparan, Noyemberyan, Byureghavan, and the branch No76 in the town of Hrazdan as part of the retail business development program," he said. Martuni branch provides a wide range of universal banking services to the residents and organizations in the town and in the region. The branch serves nearly 1500 customers monthly, including state organizations, commercial enterprises, private businessmen and individuals. The new building of the branch meets the single corporate requirements of VTB Group. It is equipped in line with up-to-date requirements. Customers and visitors will enjoy quick and high-quality service at the branch in more comfortable interior.
During the presentation ceremony, V. Ovsyannikov delivered honorable credentials to the best five customers of Martuni branch "For evident success in economy and business development achieved through mutually advantageous, durable and perfect cooperation with the regional division of VTB Bank in Armenia." He gifted a TV set for the Elders' House through Arakelutyun Hayastan (Mission Armenia) charitable public organization.
VTB Bank (Armenia) joined VTB Group in April 2004. The Russian VTB Bank OJSC holds 100% stake in the VTB Bank (Armenia). The bank is traditionally among top banks in Armenia in terms of key figures. It serves the largest branch network in Armenia - 68 branches. As of Sept 30 2010 the retail loan portfolio of the bank totaled 34 billion drams and total funds raised from customers amounted to 36 billion drams.
