Armenia's share is more than 14% in the general circulation of UNISTREAM system

The circulation of international money transfer system UNISTREAM in Armenia was more than $400,3 mln for January-September 2010 or 14,3% out of the total circulation of UNISTREAM, having grown by 4% as against the same period of 2009. The annual growth of the number of transfers made up over 5% to 537,925 thsd. The press service of Unibank told ArmInfo that the total volume of UNISTREAM transactions over Jan-Sep 2010 made up $2.77 bln AMD, and the number of transfers - 4.45 mln.
According to the source, at the 4th Russian banking festival held in Montenegro in September 2010, UNISTREAM was awarded a diploma in the nomination "Leader in the field of money transfers". In Armenia UNISTREAM is the leader in the money transfers market by both the volume and number of its transactions.
Money transfers under UNISTREAM are carried out in Armenia at all the 34 branches of Unibank at the following tariffs: 1% if the transfer amount does not exceed $3 thsd EUR or 100 thsd RUR; 0.45% if the transfer amount exceeds $3 thsd or 100 thsd RUR; 0.35% if the money is transferred in AMD regardless of the transfer amount. The transfers at these tariffs are carried out only between Unibank's own servicing points and those of the Russian banks Unistream and Uniastrumbank.
