Armenia's Central Bank forecasts 8.1% average inflation by the end of 2010
ArmInfo. The Central Bank of Armenia forecasts that by the end of 2010 inflation will average 8.1% while by the end of Q3 2010 it will make up 3.7%.
According to the CB's monetary-credit policy for Q3 2010, inflation growth risks are prevalent due to high international food and raw materials prices. But if agriculture begins to develop due to favorable price conditions inflation may start going down.
In Oct 2010 inflation was 1%, in Jan-Oct 2010 - 5.8%, in Oct 2010 as compared with Oct 2009 - 9.1%, in Jan-Oct 2010 as compared with Jan-Oct 2009 - 7.9%. In Sept 2010 as compared with Aug 2010 agriculture grew by 28.3% while as compared with Sept 2009 it declined by 18%.
