Bureau of Auto Insurers approves rules and procedures for registration of appraisal companies


ArmInfo. The Bureau of Auto Insurers has approved rules and procedures for registration of appraisal companies.

The Bureau reports that the rules and procedures will be submitted to the Central Bank within two days and will take force within the next week.

According to experts, there are no appraisers on Armenia's insurance market. Meanwhile, the lack of appraisal companies may result in serious clashes between insurers and insurants.

Oct 18 2010 Armenian insurers started selling motor third party liability insurance policies. The law on motor third party liability insurance is to take effect Jan 1 2011.
