Ameriabank offers a new deposit action "Be aware of money worth"


ArmInfo. Ameriabank offers a new deposit action "Be aware of money worth" to individuals. The press service of Ameriabank told ArmInfo that the action will last from 2 December 2010 till 1 March 2011.

According to the source, the interest payment of the deposit under this action is carried out at the end of the term. In accordance with the deposit currency, the deposit value is as follows: 1 thsd AMD costs 910 AMD; $100 costs $92.5; 100 EUR costs 94 EUR, moreover, the income tax is already reduced. The same depositors, whose deposits will be attracted over the period from 2 December till 31 December, will receive an additional opportunity to receive the difference between the amount of the deposit and the amount earned a year later.

In Jan-Nov 2010 Ameriabank's individual deposits grew by 50% to 22bln AMD. As compared with Jan-Nov 2009 this index redoubled.

According to the Ranking of Commercial Banks of Armenia prepared by the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo), Ameriabank has the second largest time deposit portfolio in Armenia's banking sector (47.2bln AMD or almost 40% of the bank's liabilities). The share of individual time deposits in the bank's time deposit portfolio exceeds 44%.
