Prices of precious metals up in Armenia


ArmInfo. The Depository of Precious Metals and Stones of Armenia, the Finance Ministry of Armenia, has established the prices of precious metals for December 13-19 2010. Thus, the official price of gold (gold bullions) established for the current week was increased 1.2% as compared to the prices for the last week and totaled 16,1189.65 AMD per gram. Silver price was up 4,6% to 338.69 drams/g, platinum was up 1.1% to 19662.98 drams/g, and palladium was up 3.9% to 8659.92 drams/g.

The source reports that as comparing to early January 2010, gold price in Armenia grew 18.4%, silver price - 56.9%, platinum price grew 5.3% and palladium - 68.1%.
