Yield reduction registered in primary market of government bonds in November 2010
ArmInfo. Yield reduction was registered in primary market of government bonds in November 2010, while the refinancing rate remained unchanged. The press service of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) told ArmInfo that the average weighted yield of government bonds with up to 1-year maturity was down 0,87 pct points to 9,02%.
According to the source, in November the average rate in the market of REPO transactions dropped to 7,48%, and the average rate for interbank REPO transactions fell to 6,59%.
The source says that in the currency market devaluation of the nominal AMD exchange rate against USD made up 0,3% to 361.4 AMD/$1; revaluation against EUR made up 0,3% to 494.36 AMD/1EUR; revaluation against RUR made up 1,7% to 11.67 AMD/1RUR.
The Central Bank of Armenia maintained the refinancing rate at 7,25%, and the rates for Lombard transactions and attracted deposits were fixed at 10,25% and 4,25% respectively.
