Gold prices up in Armenia
ArmInfo. The Depository of Precious Metals and Stones of Armenia, the Finance Ministry of Armenia, has established the prices of precious metals for January 10-16 2011.
Thus, the official price of gold (gold bullions) established for the current week was up 0.3% as compared to the prices for the last week and totaled 16,086.30AMD per gram. Silver price was up 1,1% to 374.73 drams/g, platinum was up 1.8% to 20295.05 drams/g, and palladium was up 2.4% to 8948.14 drams/g.
To recall, the ex-factory price of gold for Dec 20-26 2010 was 16045.54 drams/g, silver - 338.64 drams/g, platinum - 19694.87 drams/g and palladium - 8659.92 drams.
The source reports that as comparing to early January 2010, gold price in Armenia grew 17.3%, silver price - 56.8%, platinum price grew 5.5% and palladium - 68.9%.
