In 2010 monetary stock of Armenia increased by 11,8% to $2.5 bln
ArmInfo. In 2010 the monetary stock increased by 11,8%, and by 8,6% in December alone, having totaled 911.4 bln AMD ($2.5 bln) by January 1 2011.
According to the CBA's preliminary data of the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the cash holdings outside the banking system annually increased by 7.7% (8,8% growth in December), having totaled 304.3 bln AMD by 1 Jan 2011. The AMD deposits made up 23,8% or 217.3 bln AMD, and the foreign exchange deposits - 42,7% or 389.7 bln AMD.
In 2010 the external assets decreased by 45,3% to 195 bln AMD (7,3% decline over December). The internal assets increased by 56,2%, (13,9% growth over December), having totaled 716.4 bln AMD by 1 Jan 2011. In the structure of internal assets the liabilities to the government were fixed at negative 55.6 bln AMD (48,3% growth over December).
Economy's share made up 980.8 bln AMD, having grown in December by 4,8%. Organizations' share totaled 532.9 bln AMD (4,2% growth over December). Home economies' share made up 418.2 bln AMD (5,5% growth over December), and non-commercial enterprises' share made up 12.3 bln AMD (2.6 growth over December).
