Gold prices up in Armenia


ArmInfo. The Depository of Precious Metals and Stones of Armenia, the Finance Ministry of Armenia, has established the prices of precious metals for February 14-18 2011. Thus, the official price of gold (gold bullions) established for the current week was up 1.4% as compared to the prices for the last week and totaled 15,885.83AMD per gram. Silver price was up 4,8% to 348 drams/g, platinum was up 1.2% to 21571.83 drams/g, and palladium was up 1% to 9646.53 drams/g.

The source reports that as comparing to early January 2010, gold price in Armenia was down 1%, silver price was up 2.7%, platinum price grew 8.2% and palladium - 10.4%.
