Online trading and payments up fivefold by the end of January 2011


ArmInfo. Online trading and payments for communal services in January 2011 totaled 212 million drams with 50% growth ad against the same period of 2010 and the number of transactions grew twofold (37606 transactions).

As CJSC Armenian Card told ArmInfo, in January 2011 the share of card-to-card transfers made up 284.4 million drams, having grown by 29,5% as against January 2010, and the number of card-to-card transactions grew by 56,5% up to 3040 transactions.

The volume of internet-trade for January 2011 amounted to 197.7 mln drams having grown by 42,1% asa against January 2010, (the number - 30906 with 2 times growth as against January 2010).
