Armeconombank starts paying pensions


ArmInfo. Armeconombank is starting to pay pensions in the framework of an agreement with the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Armenia

The press service of the bank reports that in order to enhance the efficiency of this service, Armeconombank, jointly with Natali Farm (Armenia's biggest distributor of medicaments), has issued pension ArCa cards. The holders of the cards can either open bank accounts or get cash from ATMs or POS-terminals. They can also buy medicines at Natali Pharm drug stores at 5% discount.

Feb 16 2011 Armeconombank's capital totalled 8.7bln AMD, assets - almost 51bln AMD, loan book - over 28bln AMD, private deposit portfolio - 8bln AMD.

The bank has almost 115,000 plastic cards (1st place in Armenia) and 36 branches in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
