In Jan 2011 monetary stock of Armenia drops by 3.8% to $2.4 bln
ArmInfo. In Jan 2011, the monetary stock of Armenia decreased by 3.8% to 876.4 bln AMD ($2.4 bln) by 1 Feb 2011, the annual decline being 12.4%.
According to the CBA's preliminary data the National Statistical Service of Armenia provided ArmInfo, in Jan 2011 the cash funds outside the banking system declined by 9.5% (9% annual growth) to 275.4 bln AMD by 1 Feb 2011. The share of AMD deposits made up 23.5% or 206.3 bln AMD, and the share of foreign exchange deposits made up 45% or 394.6 bln AMD.
The external assets in Jan 2011 decreased by 6.7% to 181.9 bln AMD (over twofold annual decline). The internal assets decreased by 3% (64.2% annual decline) to 694.6 bln AMD. The liabilities to the government amounted to negative 88 bln AMD (58.2% decline in January).
The share of economy made up 987.1 bln AMD (0.6% growth in January), the share of organizations made up 554 bln AMD (4% growth in January). The share of households made up 403.7 bln AMD (3.5% decline in January), and the share of non-commercial enterprises - 12.4 bln AMD (0.6% growth in January).
