Central Bank promises obtainable credits to agrarian sector
ArmInfo. Central Bank of Armenia will discuss with Armenian banks the machinery of more obtainable crediting of agriculture, the head of the monetary policy department of Central Bank, Artur Stepanyan, said at today's press-conference when commenting on the expected growth of the dram credits which are rather expensive. He also added that changing of the volumes of agriculture production directly affects the inflation level in the country. In this context, the agrarian sector requires special attitude, he said.
Today the volume of credit investments in agriculture is about 52 bln drams, he said and added that the credit portfolio on agriculture credits will grow in future as well.
