Ashot Osipyan appointed chairman of Union of Banks of Armenia


ArmInfo. Ashot Osipyan, has been appointed chairman of the Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA). He has unanimously been elected to this post by the UBA participants.

The UBA press service told ArmInfo that the election for the UBA chairman's post took place on March 16 during the UBA sitting. Formerly, CEO of Byblos Bank Armenia Ararat Ghukasyan occupied the post of the UBA chairman since November 2009.

To note, Ashot Osipyan has been Executive Director, Chairman of Board of ARARATBANK since 2006. He is considered to be one of the best banking top managers and crisis managers in Armenia.
