The number of non-cash payments on bank cards grew twofold
ArmInfo. As of 1 March 2011 the volume of non-cash payments (via ATMs, Internet, transactions from card to card) amounted to 606.4 mln drams with 43,1% as against the same period of 2010, and the number of payments - 45,5 thsd units, growth by twofold.
As press-service of Armenian Card reported, in the total volume of the non-cash payments 49% were implemented through the ATMs and Internet with twofold growth as against the same period of 2010. In particular, as of 1 March 2011 the volume of the non-cash operations via the ATMs amounted to 18 mln drams with growth by 73,1%, Internet-payments - 277.6 mln drams with growth by 71,7%. The number of the non-cash operations via the ATMs grew sixfold up to 8,5 thsd units, Internet-payments - by 74,5% up to 33,4 thsd units.
The volume of transactions from card to card amounted to 310.8 mln drams as of 1 March 2011, growth by 23,5%, if compared with the same period of 2010, and the number grew by 49,9% up to 3588 transactions.
