In Feb 2011 monetary stock decreased by 2,5%
ArmInfo. In Feb 2011, the monetary stock decreased by 2,5% and as of 1 March totalled 482 bln AMD ($1.3 bln). According to the CBA's preliminary data the National Statistical Service of Armenia provided ArmInfo, in Feb 2011, versus Feb 2010 the monetary stock increased by 7,8%.
In the structure of the monetary stock the share of cash for Feb 2011 reduced by 0,2% and as of 1 March amounted to 312.4 bln drams.
The share of internal assets increased almost twofold and as of 1 March amounted to 67.9 bln AMD, the external assets decreased by 3,2% for Feb 2011 and made up 414.1 bln AMD (decrease by 13,3% as against Feb 2010).
The share of the obligatory AMD reserves amounted to 19,5% or 94,2 bln drams. This indicator increased by 41,4% for Feb, and more than threefold as against the same period of 2010. The share of the obligatory currency reserves was 13% or 62.5 bln drams with 11% decrease in Feb and twofold decrease as against Feb 2010.
