Over Jan 2011 gross international reserves of Armenia dropped by 2.3% and made up $1817 mln
ArmInfo. Over Jan 2011 the gross international reserves of Armenia dropped by 2.5% ($42 mln), and as compared with Jan 2010 - by 6.3% ($121.4 mln) to $1817 mln. In Jan 2011 the foreign exchange assets fell by 2.3%, and as compared with Jan 2010 - by 1.8% to $1783 mln, the monthly reference of the Central Bank of Armenia says.
In Jan 2011 the amount of the special drawing rights (SDR) in IMF grew by 1.5%, and as compared with Jan 2010 – fell almost four times to $34 mln.
To note, the share of gold in gross international reserves was zeroed in Dec 2003.
