In 2011 crediting in Armenian banking system may grow by 50%: head of Anelik Bank
ArmInfo. In 2011 the credit portfolio of the Armenian banking system may grow by 50%, Chairman of Board of Anelik Bank Samvel Chzmachyan told journalists on April 28. He pointed out that in Q1 2011 the credit portfolio of the Armenian banking system increased approximately by 15% or by 94 bln AMD, and most part of the loans fell on the sphere of agriculture and industry. According to the Ranking of Commercial Banks of Armenia by the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo), in 2010 provision of crediting of the Armenian banks increased by 29% to 1001 bln AMD (2.8 bln USD) or 28.5% of GDP.
By 1 Jan 2011 the credit portfolio of Anelik Bank amounted to 29.7 bln AMD, 24.2 bln AMD of them fell on economy crediting. The total capital of the bank totaled 15.7 bln AMD, assets - 60.1 bln AMD, profit - 535.5 mln AMD.
