Arminfo. Recession of consumer prices by 0,2% in April 2011 was accompanied by devaluation of Armenian dram regarding US dollar by 1,5%. As National Statistics Service reported, in Jan-Apr of the current year the consumer prices grew by 5%, and devaluation of dram to US dollar was by 3,7%. At the same period of 2010 the consumer prices grew by 4,2% while the devaluation was 3,7%.
In april of the current year the average exchange rate was 373,82 AMD/$1, which is by 5,2% less than in April 2010 (394,53 AMD/$1).
