In Q1 2011 total capital of Armenian credit companies up 15.4%
ArmInfo. In Q1 2011 the total capital of Armenian credit companies grew by 15.4% to 41.4 bln AMD ($112 mln). In the structure of the total capital, the authorized fund increased by 9.3% to 28.3 bln AMD ($76.5 mln).
According to the Central Bank of Armenia, the share of foreign capital in the authorized fund declined by 1.02% to 9.1 bln AMD ($24.7 mln). The main reserves grew by 1.7% to 555.3 mln ($1.5 mln). The accumulated profit made up 12.5 bln AMD ($33.8 mln), having increased by 32% in Q1 2011.
According to the CBA, as of 1 April 2011 there were 31 credit companies and 65 branches in Armenia.
