Ameriabank receives Commerzbank's Quality Excellence Award


ArmInfo. Ameriabank received Commerzbank's Quality Excellence Award for high quality of international settlements for the second year in succession. Ameriabank's press-service told ArmInfo. Commerzbank Relationship Managers Johann Engbrecht and Axel Bommersheim and Head of the Ameriabank Department for Corporate Customers Gagik Sahakyan attended the awarding ceremony at Ameriabank Head Office on Thursday.

The source reported that Ameriabank ensured over twofold growth of international remittances in 2010 versus 2009 and 49.82% growth in 2009 versus 2008. Trade finance operations showed an unprecedented growth for 2010 - almost 3-fold.

Commerzbank Quality Excellence Award is an annual award to best partners in various countries. Ameribank cooperates with correspondent-banks and makes all the international remittances via STP (Straight Through Processing), ruling out human factor and ensuring maximum operative transfer. The share of Ameriabank's STP in total international remittances of its customers was 99.6% in 2010 versus 99.59% in 2009.

The majority shareholder of Ameriabank is the TDA holdings Limited (99.99%), the affiliated company of the Russian "Troika Dialog" Company.
