Precious metals keep on falling in price
ArmInfo. Almost 2% average decline in prices of precious metals will be fixed in Armenia for the current week against the background of slight growth in palladium prices and 2.3% average reduction in prices of gold, silver and platinum. The State Depository of Precious Metals and Stones of the Armenian Finance Ministry told ArmInfo that the following prices have been fixed for 23-29 May 2011: gold (small bullions) - 17981,67 AMD (0.6% weekly decline), silver - 418,36 AMD (5.5% decline), platinum - 21247,65 AMD (0.8% weekly decline), palladium - 8715,55 AMD (0.2% weekly growth).
Since early 2011, gold in Armenia has grown in price by 12.1%, silver - by 23.5%, platinum - by 6.6%, and palladium - by 0.2%. The average growth of precious metals prices since early 2011 is 10.5%.
