5 credit companies join list of top 500 large taxpayers of Armenia
ArmInfo. In Q1 2011 five credit companies joined the list of top 500 large taxpayers of the country. Four of them are universal credit organizations and 1 of them is a leasing company.
According to the State Tax Service of Armenia, FINCA UCO occupied the 105th position on the list, having paid 157.3 mln AMD to the state budget, including 91.4 mln AMD profit tax and income tax. Aregak UCO ranks next (131st position) with 131.9 mln AMD, of which 78.9 mln AMD being profit tax and income tax. National Mortgage Company UCO held the 307th position with 56 mln AMD (the whole amount being profit tax and income tax). ACBA Leasing occupied the 448th position with 37.1 mln AMD, of which 33.6 mln AMD being profit tax and income tax. The list of the largest taxpayers among UCOs is accomplished by Kamurj UCO (489th position), which paid 33.7 mln AMD to the budget, including 17.9 mln AMD profit tax and income tax.
As of 1 April 2011, there were 32 credit companies in Armenia, of which 28 being UCOs, 3 leasing companies and 1 credit union.
