Chilean reformer delivers a lecture on pension reform at Central Bank of Armenia


ArmInfo. Jose Pinera, Chilean reformer and economist, delivered a lecture on the Chilean pension reform during a forum organized by the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) on Thursday. The CBA press service told ArmInfo that representatives of the Armenian government's administration, Armenian MPs, representatives of the private sector, banking and insurance spheres, public and international organizations, employees of consulates, experts and other officials participated in the forum.

CBA Chairman Artur Javadyan expressed his gratitude to the guest and pointed out that the pension reform conducted in Chili became an example for many countries. For his part, the Chilean reformer stressed that thanks to the reform implemented in Chili 30 years ago, Chili is turning from a poor country into one of the developed countries of South America.
