Work of medical establishment in motor third party liability system needs good management
ArmInfo. The work of medical establishments in the system of motor third party liability insurance (MTPL) needs good management, Executive Director of Nairi Insurance Gor Khachatryan told ArmInfo correspondent when assessing the work of medical establishments in MTPL system.
Khachatryan said that the attempts of the work "passing by the cash-desk" are observed not only in the third-rank hospitals, but also among the doctors of the leading private clinics of the country. In this context, the insurer pointed out that in one of such clinics the doctor issuing a blank form for provision of medical services wrote the number of his personal banking account on it.
"Both private clinics and state hospitals should raise their management to the level allowing an insurance company, which is currently one of the most solvent customers for hospitals, to be interested in formation of partner relations and not to evade cooperation with them", he said.
When touching on the work of other structures connected with MTPL, particularly, on the work of organizations providing technical service to motor cars, Khachatryan said that their operation has proved to be smooth enough, to the insurers' astonishment. He said that the price policy of these organizations is also acceptable.
According to Nairi Insurance, by late Q1 2011 the total volume of premiums collected by the company amounted to 1.390 bln AMD, of them 1.218 bln AMD fell on MTPL premiums, in terms of which the company occupies the fourth position in the market.
Experts say that the shadow turnover in medicine today is almost twice as much as the total volume of charges for provision of medical services.
