ArmInfo. In 2011 Areximbank-Gazprombank Group intends to increase the number of issued cards to 8-10 thsd at least.

The press service of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group told ArmInfo that as of 1 April 2011 the total number of cards issued by the bank made up 72845. At present the bank has 47 bancomats and 142 POS- terminals in Yerevan and regions of Armenia.

To note, Areximbank-GPB Group CJSC was founded in 1998 to support entrepreneurship and serve the financial flows between Russia and Armenia. The 100% owner of the bank is Gazprombank OJSC (Russia). Areximbank-GPB Group is a principal member of Visa and MasterCard international payment systems and a member of ArCa local payment system. By the number of active Visa cards, the bank is in the top five banks.
