New rule of payment on OSAGO is directed to protection of the rights of pedestrians
Arminfo. At its today's session Armenian Central Bank Board adopted a decision to endorse alterations in the rules (RL1-017) "On payment of compensation to insurance carriers on OSAGO".
As press-service of Central Bank reported, according to the new rule, the guilt of a pedestrian in a road accident cannot be a ground to refuse payment of compensation to him for injuries. This alteration is targeted to protection of the pedestrians which suffered during a road accident and to raising of justice in the insurance system. The incorporate option of the rules will step in from 17 June 2011.
