ARARATBANK becomes exclusive representative of Diners Club Int. in Armenia
ArmInfo. ARARATBANK has been permitted by the Central Bank of Armenia to join the Diners Club International system.
The press service of ARARATBANK reports that the cooperation with Diners Club has become possible due to the bank's active efforts to develop its plastic card business, to enlarge its ATM and branch networks, to improve the quality of its services and to ensure stable and continuous growth. In the near future the bank will connect its ATMs and POS-terminals to the global Diners Club network with the process to be finished in Q4 2011.
ARARATBANK has become an exclusive representative of Diners Club in Armenia and will be able to serve Diners Club card holders. 
Established in 1950, Diners Club provides high quality financial services in 185 countries by means of 675,000 ATMs. Diners Club cards are the first multi-functional cards in the world.
According to ArmInfo's Armenian Banks in Card Business review, Apr 1 2011 ARARATBANK was the 6th as to the number of active cards - over 58,000. The bank issues and serves local ArCa cards as well as Visas and MasterCards. The bank has the 3rd biggest quantity of ArCa cards and MasterCards, the 3rd biggest quantity of salary cards, the 4th biggest quantity of active cards. As of today ARARATBANK has 154 POS-terminals and 45 ATMs. ARARATBANK was one of the first to join the national pension card project and the first to issue DUAL-Classic M cards and to launch Petrol Plus system.
