In May 2011 bond yield in Armenia grew by 0.2-1.2%


ArmInfo. In May 2011 bond yield in Armenia grew by 0.2-1.2%.

The press service of the Central Bank of Armenia reports that the average yield of short-term government bonds grew by 0.84% to 9.8%, that of mid-term bonds - b y 0.21% to 14%.

Repo yield grew by 0.97% to 10.2%, on the inter-bank market it grew by 1.17% to 9.7%.

On the currency market in May 2011 AMD depreciated by 0.16% against USD to 374.2 AMD/1 USD and by 0.5% against RUR to 13.4 AMD/1 RUR. Against EUR it rose by 0.68% to 537.2 AMD/1 EUR.

June 7 2011 the Central Bank decided to leave its official rate unchanged at 8.5%. As a result, lombard repo and deposit rates remained unchanged at 11.5% and 5.5%, respectively.
